Why is your coffee roasted “Medium”?

Roasting coffee to a medium level strikes a balance that preserves the bean's
natural flavors and complexities, allowing for a more nuanced tasting experience.
Medium roasts maintain the unique characteristics of the coffee's origin, showcasing
its acidity, sweetness, and aroma. In contrast, many big box brands opt for darker,
almost burnt roasts to achieve a consistent, bold flavor that masks imperfections
and appeals to a broader audience. This approach often sacrifices the delicate
nuances of the coffee, resulting in a more uniform but less interesting cup.
Ultimately, medium roasts celebrate the art of coffee, highlighting its diverse
profiles rather than overwhelming them with bitterness.

Isn’t there more caffeine in a shot of espresso?

A single pour-over coffee not only contains more caffeine than an espresso shot, but
it also offers a smoother, more balanced taste with less acidity, making it gentler on
the stomach. This brewing method allows for precise control over the extraction
process, resulting in a clean and nuanced flavor profile. Moreover, making pour-over
coffee requires no special machinery—just hot water at around 209 degrees
Fahrenheit and a quality coffee filter. This simplicity not only makes pour-over
accessible but also enhances the appreciation of the coffee's natural qualities,
allowing drinkers to enjoy a rich and satisfying cup without the intense acidity often
associated with espresso.

Does “Pink Bourbon” coffee contain Alcohol?

Pink Bourbon is a unique variety of coffee known for its striking pink cherries and vibrant flavor profile. Originating from specific growing conditions and meticulous processing methods, this coffee does not contain any alcohol or added flavors, allowing the natural characteristics of the beans to shine through. The name "Pink Bourbon" reflects both its distinctive coloration and its lineage, as it is derived from the Bourbon variety of Arabica coffee. With its bright acidity and sweet, fruity notes, Pink Bourbon offers a delightful and pure coffee experience, showcasing the beauty of its natural origins.
